About us

Agder Research and Innovation Hub is a virtual competency centre for large-scale research and innovation projects in Agder.  As a cooperative endeavour between NORCE, UiA and Agder County Municipality the centre will contribute to the development of competitive regional research communities which will support each other, strengthen the local knowledge base, and contribute to the development of the region through international cooperation.  The prosject is funded by Sørlandets compancy fond and Aust-Agder compancy fond and the involved organisations.

Objectives

1. Heighten the visibility and position of Agder’s research communities, at UiA and NORCE, to increase impact in European programs through central roles in relevant EU networks, platforms, and thematic research clusters.

2. Develop methodology (methods and processes) which can lead to EU funding as well as increased national research funding.

3. Contribute to an increase in the rate of success for EU proposals from UiA, NORCE, and other key actors in Agder.
